Install

Add Musaid to Slack or Teams

Musaid installs as a workspace app. Every irreversible action still stops for a human — installing it does not skip that.

How installing works

  1. Create a Musaid workspace account at app.musaid.xyz/signup.
  2. During onboarding, choose Connect Slack (or Connect Microsoft Teams) and approve the install in the popup that opens.
  3. Musaid is added to your workspace immediately. It stays quiet until it is mentioned or invited to a channel — it does not read anything by default.

What the Slack install grants

  • Read messages you mention it in, and reply in the same channel or thread
  • Read files you share with it, so it can work from them
  • Send messages, upload files, and post approval prompts before any sensitive action

It only sees channels it is invited to. A sensitive action (sending on your behalf, writing to a connected system) always stops for an admin's approval first — see Security.

Uninstalling

Remove Musaid from Slack's App Directory → Manage page, or from Teams admin center, at any time. See Privacy for what happens to workspace data afterward.
